Day 45 - 071509 Yellowstone National Park

Colter Bay Campground to Grant Village campground in Yellowstone National Park - 39.66 miles

This morning we said goodbye to the Tetons. As we approached Yellowstone the road construction continued and again the pavement ended forcing us to ride in the pilot vehicle.

After the construction we stopped at Flagg Ranch Resort for snacks & goodies. We entered Yellowstone and headed straight for Moose Falls for a dip in Crawfish Creek. I jumped from the falls three times and Bret jumped twice ... so much fun!

We started our time in Yellowstone with a nice climb up to the continental divide. The park is filled with beautiful sites and the air is thick with the smell of pine. Several of us enjoyed a yummy pasta par dinner and great lake views at the Grant Village Lakehouse Restaurant. We are sad to bid farewell to our Swedish friends Peer and Marcus. We camped for the night at the Grant Village campground.
