We quickly packed up our camp and headed to the Kwik Stop for breakfast biscuits and Gatorade. Our first water and snack stop was at the closed down Convenience Xpress in Rush Center, KS. We next stopped for lunch at Good Eats in Ness City, KS. Thanks again to Larry Hayes for the $20 donation.
We decided to march onward 30 more miles to the Frigid Creme in Dighton, KS. Milkshakes are yummy! I am currently enjoying a quick internet blog stop at the Lane County Library. I went to the Kwik Shop with Kevin and Becca for a 64 oz cherry slurpee & a full sized bag of yummy Sun Chips. We played several intense games of 8 person gotcha basketball in the Dighton Swimming Pool. Camp for the night was in the Dighton City Park.
I did some catching up on your blog this morning! Yes.. bored at work :) Already in Kansas I see, the trip is flying by. I'm sure you guys will have a very patriotic 4th weekend in the heartland! You could even wear American Flag capes as you ride.

ReplyDeleteHAHA! work is boring! Thanks for following ... the trip really is flying by. The 4th was great andn most of us are riding with American flags as we run into other bikers from around the world that are rocking their flags hard.
